About the author
Chris Hodge is an independent advisor on corporate governance and regulation who is currently advising the Institute of Directors and the International Corporate Governance Network. He also works with development agencies and local regulators to raise standards of corporate governance and reporting in emerging markets.
Chris was previously an advisor to the Chartered Governance Institute. In that capacity he acted as Secretary to the Institute’s Board Evaluation Review Steering Group.
For ten years to 2014 Chris was the Director of Corporate Governance at the Financial Reporting Council where he was responsible for the UK Corporate Governance Code and for introducing the first national stewardship code for investors.
